Representatives of the Buyers Forum and leaders of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) held a meeting in Dhaka to strengthen collaboration for the long-term sustainability and growth of the ready-made garment (RMG) sector.
BGMEA was represented by Senior Vice President Inamul Khan Bablu, Vice Presidents Md. Rezwan Selim and Vidya Amrit Khan, along with Directors Faisal Samad and Nafis-ud-Doula.
The discussion focused on the current industry landscape, key growth priorities, and strategies to enhance Bangladesh’s global apparel competitiveness. Both sides stressed the need for closer cooperation to address emerging challenges and future opportunities.The meeting concluded with a joint commitment to build a more resilient, competitive, and sustainable apparel supply chain.
