Bangladesh’s readymade garment exports to the United States rose by 12.43 percent to $7.6 billion during January–November 2025, according to data from the US Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA).Despite the overall growth, exports declined sharply in November, falling 14.57 percent year-on-year to $526.51 million.During the same period, total US apparel imports slightly decreased by 1.44 percent in value and 3.23 percent in volume, while average prices increased by 1.85 percent.
Bangladesh was among several countries expanding their US market share. Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Cambodia also posted export growth, while China’s garment exports to the US dropped sharply by 33.9 percent.
In terms of volume, Bangladesh recorded a 13.3 percent increase, though unit prices declined marginally by 0.77 percent during the period.
