The Vietnam Saigon Textile & Garment Industry Expo 2026 (SaigonTex & SaigonFabric) opened on April 8 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre, bringing together global leaders in textile machinery, materials, and garment manufacturing.
The UFI-certified event is expected to attract over 32,000 trade visitors and more than 1,000 enterprises from around 22 countries and regions, highlighting Vietnam’s growing position as a key hub for textile and apparel production in Southeast Asia.
The exhibition features the latest innovations in textile and garment machinery, fabrics, nonwoven materials, accessories, dyes, and quality control solutions. A strong focus has been placed on digitalisation and sustainability, reflecting evolving global industry trends.
Key highlights include demonstrations of artificial intelligence applications for production management, smart factory automation, and eco-friendly materials supporting circular economy practices.
Major industry players are using the platform to introduce advanced solutions. Archroma is showcasing sustainable dyeing technologies aimed at improving performance while reducing environmental impact, while Emtec is presenting digital textile testing systems to enhance supply chain efficiency and minimize waste.
The event is organised with support from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, and the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group.
In addition to exhibitions, the programme includes seminars, product presentations, and networking sessions aimed at fostering partnerships and exploring new business opportunities.
Industry analysts note that the expo’s emphasis on automation and sustainability reflects how manufacturers are adapting to competitive pressures, digital transformation, and increasing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements from global buyers.
