Global Stakeholders Gather in Istanbul for Organic Cotton Summit 2026

The global organic cotton industry will focus on strengthening supply chains and scaling sustainable production at the Organic Cotton Summit 2026, scheduled to take place in Istanbul from 2–4 June 2026.

Jointly hosted for the first time by the Organic Cotton Accelerator and Textile Exchange, the summit will bring together brands, retailers, suppliers, farmers, policymakers, and sustainability experts to address key challenges in the organic cotton sector.

Discussions will focus on improving supply chain traceability, increasing climate resilience, adapting to regulatory changes, and boosting global demand for organic cotton. The event aims to promote collaboration across the value chain and strengthen trust between growers and global buyers.

Industry leaders emphasise that scaling organic cotton production requires deeper cooperation and investment in data-driven sustainability, finance mechanisms, and policy alignment. Workshops and regional dialogues will explore practical solutions to support long-term growth.

The summit will also feature an Organic Cotton Pavilion showcasing stakeholders across farming, certification, seed development, and traceability technologies, highlighting innovation across the supply chain.

Organisers say the event represents a critical opportunity to accelerate the global transition toward more sustainable cotton systems through collective action and shared learning.
