Fashion Industry Leaders to Gather at Global Sourcing Expo Sydney 2026

The Global Sourcing Expo Sydney 2026 is set to return from 16–18 June at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, offering fashion brands, retailers, wholesalers and sourcing professionals a major platform to connect with international manufacturers, explore new sourcing opportunities and gain industry insights.

Co-located with the China Clothing Textiles & Accessories Expo, the event will feature more than 600 exhibitors from across the global textile, apparel, footwear, accessories and home furnishing sectors.

Exhibitors representing countries including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, South Africa, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, Nepal, Kenya, Australia and the United States are expected to participate, highlighting a diverse range of sourcing capabilities and manufacturing solutions.

The exhibition will provide attendees with direct access to suppliers, enabling businesses to compare products, production capabilities, pricing structures and minimum order quantities while building strategic relationships with manufacturers.

Industry-focused seminar programme returns

Alongside the exhibition, the Global Sourcing Seminar Programme will once again bring together leading voices from the fashion and sourcing industries to discuss emerging trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.

The seminar sessions will be hosted by fashion business journalist Patty Huntington and feature prominent industry leaders including Marianne Perkovic, Executive Chair of the Australian Fashion Council, Alex Schuman, CEO of Carla Zampatti Fashion, and Natasa Pitra-Grbic, Creative Director of PITRA.

Discussions will focus on key industry topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, sourcing strategies, innovation and the future of fashion retail.

New Learning Lab to offer practical industry insights

A new addition to this year’s event is the Learning Lab Programme, an interactive platform designed to provide sourcing professionals with practical, bite-sized learning experiences directly on the exhibition floor.

The programme will feature expert-led discussions, case studies and “Ask the Expert” sessions, enabling participants to engage directly with industry specialists and gain actionable business insights.

Masterclass to focus on sustainable business growth

The final day of the expo will feature the Global Sourcing Summit Masterclass led by industry expert Jude Kingston.

Titled From Concept to Commercial Success: Building a Scalable, Sustainable Fashion Business, the full-day programme will explore sourcing strategies, sales development, sustainability integration and business scaling frameworks designed for both emerging designers and established fashion brands.

Organisers say the event continues to strengthen its position as Australia’s leading platform for global sourcing, industry education and international business networking.

With growing demand for resilient supply chains, sustainable sourcing practices and innovation-driven manufacturing, the 2026 edition is expected to attract significant interest from fashion and textile professionals across global markets.
