ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 Surpasses Previous Editions in Exhibitor Numbers

ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 has already exceeded all previous editions in both exhibitor participation and exhibition space ahead of its official opening in Shanghai this November, reflecting strong confidence in Asia’s textile manufacturing sector.

The exhibition will be held from November 20–24, 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai and will showcase the complete textile value chain, including spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, nonwovens, recycling, garment machinery and textile chemicals.

Organisers said the event will feature leading global textile machinery manufacturers including Rieter, Karl Mayer, Murata, Picanol, Saurer and Shima Seiki, highlighting innovations in digitalisation, intelligent manufacturing and sustainable production technologies.

Visitor pre-registration officially opened on May 25 and will continue until November 19 through the exhibition’s official websites. Organisers announced a 40 percent early-bird discount for advance registrations, while industry groups with six or more participants will receive additional preferential benefits.

To strengthen global participation, organisers have launched an extensive international promotion campaign targeting major textile manufacturing hubs and overseas buyer groups. Invitations have reportedly been sent to more than 100 international trade associations, industry organisations and key enterprises.

Within China, promotional activities are focusing on established textile regions including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong and Shandong, alongside emerging industrial clusters in Xinjiang, Hubei and Henan.

Industry observers expect the exhibition to serve as a major global sourcing and business networking platform for textile technology suppliers and manufacturers amid accelerating transformation in the textile and apparel industry.
