TEXPROCIL Launches Advanced Trade Certification Programme to Boost India’s Textile Export Competitiveness

TEXPROCIL has launched the Advanced Certificate Program in International Trade (ACPIT) during the Export Awards 2023–24 ceremony in Mumbai to strengthen India’s textile export ecosystem and improve global trade competitiveness.

Speaking at the event, India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the country aims to achieve $100 billion in textile exports and $250 billion in textile production by 2030. She also highlighted initiatives including PM MITRA Parks, Samarth Scheme and ATUFS to support the sector’s growth.

TEXPROCIL Chairman Vijay Agarwal said the cotton textile ecosystem supports around 35 million jobs across India.
