Ocean Textile Effect has promoted Engr. Zahedul Huque to the prestigious position of Global Head, recognizing his industry expertise, leadership and outstanding contributions over the years. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s global business alongside its Bangladesh operations.
Engr. Huque graduated from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) in 2001 and has extensive experience in the textile industry. He also serves as an external examiner at BUTEX and Daffodil International University and is an advisor to Textile Trend magazine.
With professional affiliations including life fellowships with IEB and ITET, he has represented Bangladesh’s textile sector at numerous international seminars across Asia and Europe.
Ocean Textile Effect has strengthened its presence in Bangladesh through strategic partnerships with Chinese enterprises, including Argus and Flariant, while recently expanding its international collaborations with Innovation Innovative UK and Medhasvi Industries Ltd.,
