Textile Times held a courtesy meeting with ABU SHADATE FAISAL MAHAMUDE, PhD, Operations Director of Chaity Group, at the Chaity Industrial Park in Sonargaon, Narayanganj, on Saturday (22 August).
The meeting focused on the ongoing gas crisis in Bangladesh’s textile industry and its impact on manufacturing operations and production. The participants discussed the challenges arising from the current gas shortage and explored possible solutions to ensure a more stable and reliable energy supply for the sector.
The discussion also emphasized the importance of coordinated initiatives and practical measures involving industry stakeholders to mitigate the impact of the gas crisis and support uninterrupted textile production.
