H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bangladesh, visited Uttara Export Processing Zone (EPZ) on 19 January.
During the visit, the Ambassador held discussion meetings with officials of the Zone Authority, representatives of the local Police Administration, and Chinese investors operating in Uttara EPZ. He highly appreciated the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) for its proactive initiatives to ensure enhanced security for Chinese nationals and their investments.
Mr. Yao Wen described Uttara EPZ as a model export processing zone for China–Bangladesh economic cooperation. He expressed confidence that the EPZ would continue to play a significant role in strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and overall economic partnership between the two countries.
