Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan has been formally appointed Vice-Chancellor of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), following his tenure as Acting Vice-Chancellor.
A distinguished textile engineer and academician, Prof. Khan brings over 35 years of experience in teaching, research, educational leadership, consultancy, and technological innovation.
He earned his MSc and PhD in Textile Technology from UMIST, UK, under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in strengthening industry–academia collaboration and advancing textile education in Bangladesh.
Under his leadership, BUFT is expected to further enhance its academic excellence, research capability, and industry relevance.
