Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) has appointed Abdullah Al Mamun as its new Spokesperson. The appointment was announced on Monday through an official directive issued by Showkat Aziz Russell, President of BTMA.
Abdullah Al Mamun previously served as a Director of BTMA and is currently the Director of Abed Textile Processing Mills Ltd.. His appointment reflects his longstanding involvement and leadership within Bangladesh’s textile industry.
Expressing his gratitude, Mamun said,”I sincerely thank the President and the Board of BTMA for entrusting me with this responsibility. I am honored by the confidence placed in me and look forward to serving the association with dedication and commitment.
“The Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), headquartered in Dhaka, is the national trade body representing textile mills and manufacturers across Bangladesh. The organization plays a crucial role in policy advocacy, industry development, and strengthening the country’s textile sector both locally and internationally.
Mamun’s appointment is expected to further enhance BTMA’s communication, representation, and strategic engagement with stakeholders in the textile and apparel industry.
