DBL Group has officially started construction of a new lingerie manufacturing unit at Flamingo Fashions Limited, marking a strategic expansion in the global intimate apparel segment.

The initiative supports the Group’s long-term growth strategy focused on product diversification and high-value manufacturing.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Chairman Abdul Wahed, Managing Director M. A. Jabbar, Vice Chairman M. A. Rahim, and Deputy Managing Director & Group CEO M. A. Quader (Anu), along with other senior leadership members.

The new facility will integrate advanced production technologies, automation systems, and process optimization tools to meet rising global demand for technical and design-intensive lingerie products.

Designed with a sustainability-first approach, the unit aims to achieve LEED certification, reinforcing DBL Group’s strong commitment to green manufacturing and responsible industrial growth.Industry observers note that global demand for intimate apparel continues to grow, driven by innovation, premiumization, and evolving consumer preferences.
