A UAE–Bangladesh joint venture, Integrated Composite Industries Ltd., is set to invest US$ 10 million at the BEPZA Economic Zone to manufacture advanced Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite products, steel frames, and accessories.
The upcoming factory will produce modern bathtubs, jacuzzis, high-demand panel tanks, and specialized composite products for the global shipbuilding and cruise industries. With an annual production capacity of 6,174 metric tons, the majority of the products will be exported, particularly to Dubai.
The project is expected to generate employment for 906 Bangladeshi nationals, contributing significantly to job creation and skills development in the country.The Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) welcomed the investment, describing it as a value-added and non-traditional initiative that strengthens Bangladesh’s position as a competitive global manufacturing hub.
