Rosin Exports to invest Tk280 crore in Jamalpur denim factory

Rosin Exports Limited will invest Tk280 crore to establish a modern denim manufacturing factory in the Jamalpur Economic Zone, aiming to create around 3,000 jobs within five years.

The Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) and Rosin Exports signed a land lease agreement for five acres on 11 March. Construction of the factory is scheduled to begin in June 2026.The facility will produce denim tops and bottoms and include a denim washing plant. Initially, about 800 workers will be employed, with the workforce expected to expand gradually.

The company also plans to provide worker housing, healthcare, sanitation, and training facilities to support employees.
