DCCI Signs MoCs with Chinese Chambers to Boost Bangladesh–China Trade, Investment & Business Partnerships

The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has signed Memorandums of Cooperation (MoCs) with three major Chinese business chambers in Guangdong to strengthen bilateral trade and investment.

The agreements were signed with the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce of Importers and Exporters, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products, and the Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce for Outbound Business during a business delegation visit.

The partnerships aim to enhance B2B engagement, joint ventures, and market intelligence sharing across sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, automotive, shipbuilding, and high-tech industries including semiconductors.

During the visit, DCCI representatives also met around 270 Chinese companies at a matchmaking event on the sidelines of the Canton Fair to explore sourcing and investment opportunities.

Officials said the agreements are expected to strengthen supply chains, reduce trade barriers, and promote more balanced economic cooperation.
