Summa has introduced its new F Series Vantage flatbed cutting systems at FESPA Barcelona 2026, aiming to improve production efficiency, workflow automation and operational flexibility across the signage, textile, packaging and industrial sectors.
The company said the latest generation of flatbed cutters is designed to deliver up to 40 percent productivity improvement through enhanced cutting speeds, intelligent automation features and simplified operation.
According to Summa, the F Series Vantage has been developed in response to increasing industry pressure caused by rising material costs, labour shortages and the need to reduce production errors and downtime.
The new platform combines advanced motion control, automated blade recognition and media thickness sensing technologies to accelerate both setup and execution processes while improving cutting precision and workflow continuity.
The system also features an expanded tool library, including high-frequency routing technology, tangential cutting modules and specialised tools for rigid materials and high-precision applications.
Company officials said the upgraded tool ecosystem is intended to support wider material compatibility, allowing manufacturers to diversify into applications involving aluminium, rigid substrates and other advanced materials.
Geert Pierloot, Managing Director of Summa, said the new series was designed with a strong focus on operational simplicity, productivity and user accessibility.
He noted that the F Series Vantage is the easiest flatbed cutting platform the company has introduced so far, adding that operators can become familiar with the system in less than an hour using the integrated GoProduce software environment.
The company also highlighted improvements in safety and workflow management. The new machines include enhanced safety systems aimed at reducing operational risks while minimising interruptions during production.
In addition, Summa introduced open workflow integration capabilities through its GoConnect and GoData platforms, enabling compatibility with external automation systems, feeders and stackers without requiring closed production ecosystems.
Kristof Tilleman, Software Development Manager at Summa, said the platform has been developed to support predictive analytics, workflow automation and future-ready manufacturing integration.
The F Series Vantage is currently available in the 1612 and 1625 models and is being demonstrated throughout FESPA Barcelona at Summa’s exhibition booth.
Headquartered in Gistel, Belgium, Summa is known globally for its digital cutting technologies serving industries including signage, textiles, packaging and industrial manufacturing.
