Scholars Business Club Hosts Exclusive LinkedIn Session to Enhance Career Readiness

The Scholars Business Club (SBC) of the University of Scholars successfully organized an “Exclusive LinkedIn Session” on 18 July 2026, providing students with practical insights into personal branding, professional networking, and effective job search strategies.

Held in collaboration with LinkedIn Community Bangladesh (LCB), the event aimed to strengthen students’ career readiness by equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to build a strong professional presence and navigate today’s competitive job market.

The session was attended by Capt. Mobashwer A. Khandaker, Treasurer and Registrar of the University of Scholars, as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished attendees included SM Nahidul Islam, Head of the Department of Business Administration; Fahim Ahmad, Lecturer and Club Advisor; S.K. Shafin Hossain, President of Scholars Business Club; Ashiqul Islam Shihab, General Secretary; and Md Sajib, Treasurer of the club.

The event featured two industry professionals from LinkedIn Community Bangladesh as keynote speakers.

Jahid Hossain Sunny, Zonal Manager at Banglalink and Lead, Communication at LinkedIn Community Bangladesh, shared practical guidance on developing a compelling LinkedIn profile, building a strong personal brand, and leveraging professional networking for long-term career growth.

The second session was delivered by S M Muqtadirul Huq, Lead, Event Affairs at LinkedIn Community Bangladesh and Assistant Brand Manager at Akij Venture Group. He discussed modern job search strategies, employer expectations, and how students can effectively position themselves in an increasingly digital recruitment landscape.

Through interactive discussions and real-world career advice, participants gained valuable insights into optimizing their LinkedIn presence, expanding professional networks, and preparing for future employment opportunities.

The initiative reflects the Scholars Business Club’s ongoing commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry by organizing career-focused learning opportunities that prepare students for professional success.
