The 13th Bangladesh Yarn, Fabrics & Accessories Show began in Dhaka on 13 August, bringing together international suppliers of yarn, fabrics, garment accessories and textile chemicals.
BKMEA President Mohammad Hatem inaugurated the four-day exhibition at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Purbachal. The show is being held alongside Bangladesh TEXCHEM Expo 2026 and remains open to business visitors from 11am to 7pm.
More than 150 local and international companies are participating, showcasing products including woven and knit yarn, blended yarn, wool and suit fabrics, printed and sports fabrics, home fabrics, garment accessories, embroidery and hot-stamping technologies.
The exhibition provides Bangladesh’s RMG manufacturers, exporters, buying houses and fabric processors with opportunities to explore sourcing options and directly connect with global suppliers.
Mohammad Hatem stressed the importance of government policy support for investment and industrial growth. He also called for a faster and simpler certification process, noting that retaining existing investors would help attract further investment and create employment.
Organised by ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, the event aims to bring international suppliers closer to Bangladesh’s manufacturers and exporters while creating new sourcing and business opportunities for the textile and apparel sector.
