Epic Group has inaugurated a $100 million Trimetro manufacturing campus in Odisha, marking India’s first garment facility to achieve both net-zero carbon and net-zero water status.
Spread across 40 acres, the plant will produce 20 million garments annually and create around 10,000 jobs, with women making up 80% of the workforce.
Backed partly by IFC financing, the facility integrates renewable energy, water recycling, and energy-efficient systems, setting a new benchmark for sustainable and inclusive apparel manufacturing.
