Global Home Textile Innovations Take Center Stage at Intertextile Shanghai Autumn 2026

Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2026 is set to bring together leading global home textile manufacturers, designers and industry experts from 18–20 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, showcasing the latest product innovations, sustainable materials and emerging design trends.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA), the exhibition will feature an expanded sourcing platform with new exhibitors across bedding, upholstery and sofa fabrics, and wall décor, offering buyers a comprehensive view of global home textile innovations.

Commenting on the upcoming edition, Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said the exhibition reflects the continued evolution of the global home textiles industry by bringing together innovative materials, sustainable solutions and forward-looking designs that address changing consumer preferences and market demands.

Expanded Product Showcase

The exhibition will feature several first-time participants presenting innovative products and sustainable textile solutions.

In the bedding segment, The Cozynest Company from South Korea will introduce its lightweight, machine-washable All-in-One Quilt, alongside the EarthWool and Bio-Cotton collections. Portuguese manufacturer Antonio Salgado & Ca Lda will showcase premium jacquard bedding, throws and decorative textiles produced with organic cotton, European flax linen and other sustainable fibres.

The upholstery and sofa fabrics section will feature Taiwan’s Green City Textile, presenting cooling fabrics, pet-friendly textiles and solvent-free synthetic leather collections, while Cambodia’s New Tex Cambodia Weaving & Dyeing Technology will highlight its integrated weaving and dyeing capabilities serving global brands.

In the wall décor category, Chinese companies will introduce seamless textile wall coverings, decorative wallpapers, home furnishing fabrics, carpets, furniture, lighting and other interior decoration solutions.

Sustainability, AI and Global Market Insights

Beyond product displays, the exhibition will host an extensive programme of seminars, workshops and trend presentations under the theme “Palette, Connector, Go-Green, NextGen.”

The trend forum will explore future colour palettes, sustainable materials, circular design concepts and technological innovation in home textiles.

Industry experts will lead discussions on urban regeneration, circular economy, AI-driven manufacturing, digital transformation, international market expansion and cross-border business development.

Highlights include a trend presentation by Cécile Rosenstrauch, Global Creative Director of NellyRodi™ Agency, a Designers’ Tour led by Byron Lee, Founder of Order Studio, and a seminar by Brazilian market expert Adriano Tadeu Barbosa focusing on opportunities in Latin America’s home textile market.

The exhibition will also host the Furniture & Home Textiles Go Global Summit, offering business matchmaking opportunities and discussions on international market expansion strategies.

With its combination of innovative products, sustainability initiatives, technology-focused discussions and global networking opportunities, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2026 is expected to serve as one of the industry’s leading sourcing and knowledge-sharing platforms for home textile professionals worldwide.
