Knit Asia Group is set to participate in the Factory Innovation Pavilion at Textile Innovation Expo 2026, where it will showcase finished garments and highlight its capabilities in value-added apparel and sweater manufacturing.
Knit Asia Ltd. and Aurum Sweater Ltd., part of New Asia Group, have been strengthening their focus on higher-value products, modernization and sustainable manufacturing. Through its participation in the three-day expo, the group will present its garment portfolio as an example of how product development, material selection, design and manufacturing capabilities can be integrated at the factory level.
The Factory Innovation Pavilion will allow visitors to explore finished garments developed and manufactured by Knit Asia and Aurum Sweater. The showcase is expected to provide brands, buyers and industry professionals with a closer look at the group’s product capabilities and its growing focus on value-added apparel and sweater categories.
Aurum Sweater has been expanding its portfolio toward premium sweater products and more sophisticated material categories. The company’s product-focused approach reflects the broader shift within Bangladesh’s apparel sector toward generating greater value through product development, quality and manufacturing capabilities rather than relying primarily on production volume.
Amer Salim, Director of Knit Asia Ltd. and Aurum Sweater Ltd., expressed enthusiasm about the group’s participation in the event.“We are going to be participating at the Innovation Expo, and we are very excited about it. It’s going to be a great event,” said Amer Salim.
Encouraging wider industry participation, he added, “Please, everyone, do join. I’m sure it’s going to be a great experience for everybody. It’s going to be a good learning experience as well, as we and every other participant are going to showcase what they are doing.”
His comments reflect the broader objective of the Factory Innovation Pavilion, which is designed not only to showcase individual factory capabilities but also to facilitate knowledge sharing and peer learning among manufacturers. For Knit Asia Group, the pavilion will provide an opportunity to demonstrate both its manufacturing capabilities and the finished products resulting from those capabilities. The garment display will offer visitors a tangible view of how innovation, material development and production expertise can be translated into market-ready apparel.
The group’s participation comes at a time when Bangladesh’s apparel industry is increasingly focusing on product diversification and value addition. Manufacturers are placing greater emphasis on product development, sustainability, quality, flexibility, technological advancement and higher-value categories to strengthen competitiveness in global markets.
The Factory Innovation Pavilion has been designed to highlight such factory-level developments by bringing manufacturers directly into the exhibition space to showcase practical examples of innovation in products, processes, technologies and manufacturing practices.
The Textile Innovation Expo 2026, scheduled for 12–14 November 2026 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, is the flagship event of the Textile Innovation Exchange (TIE). The expo will bring together manufacturers, brands, buyers, technology providers, researchers and textile professionals, with dedicated areas covering factory innovation, textile materials, dyeing and printing, garment automation, and green and sustainable technologies.
Through its participation in the Factory Innovation Pavilion, Knit Asia Group will highlight not only its manufacturing processes but also the finished, value-added garments and sweater products that demonstrate the outcome of its capabilities.
