The 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 (Textiles & Apparel) and the Global Sourcing Summit 2026 officially opened at the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center in Bangkok, bringing together manufacturers, sourcing executives, brands, retailers, policymakers, industry associations, and technology providers from across Asia and international markets.

Organized by CEMS-Global USA with the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX) as Co-organizer, the events aim to strengthen regional sourcing partnerships, facilitate international trade opportunities, and address key challenges shaping the future of the global textile and apparel industry.
Held under the theme “Asian Manufacturers. Global Buyers. One Powerful Show,” the platform comes at a critical time for the industry as brands and retailers worldwide continue to diversify sourcing strategies, strengthen supply chain resilience, and accelerate sustainability initiatives amid geopolitical and economic uncertainties.

The three-day exhibition, running from June 3–5, features manufacturers and suppliers from across Asia, while the Global Sourcing Summit, taking place on June 3–4, serves as a high-level forum for discussing trade, sourcing, sustainability, innovation, competitiveness, and long-term industry development.
The event has attracted support from leading regional and international organizations, including the International Apparel Federation (IAF), China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles (CCCT), National Federation of Thai Textile Industries (NFTTI), Thailand Textile Institute (THTI), VITAS Vietnam, MGMA Myanmar, API Indonesia, MTMA Malaysia, JAAF Sri Lanka, and several Indian trade bodies.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, S. S. Sarwar, Group CEO of CEMS-Global USA, emphasized the importance of regional collaboration in shaping the future of global sourcing.
“The future of sourcing will be built through stronger regional collaboration, integrated value chains, and strategic partnerships across Asia and with the world. Through the Asia Sourcing Show and Global Sourcing Summit, we are bringing together the stakeholders who will help define the next chapter of global textile and apparel sourcing,” he said.
Over the course of the event, participants are engaging in business matchmaking sessions, buyer-supplier meetings, networking programs, industry showcases, and expert-led discussions focusing on supply chain transformation, sustainability, digitalization, innovation, sourcing diversification, and regional manufacturing collaboration.

Key topics include global sourcing shifts, next-generation supply chains, circularity and responsible manufacturing, technology adoption, ASEAN-South Asia-East Asia cooperation, and the future competitiveness of Asian manufacturing.
Organizers expect the event to generate significant sourcing opportunities, strengthen regional partnerships, attract new investments, and contribute to the long-term development of the textile and apparel sector across Asia.
As global brands continue to seek reliable, diversified, and sustainable sourcing destinations, the event reinforces Bangkok’s growing role as a strategic hub connecting Asian manufacturing capabilities with international sourcing demand.
