The Bangladesh Apparel Youth Leaders Alliance (BAYLA) will host the BAYLA Future Summit 2026 on 20–21 July in Dhaka, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, academics and young professionals to explore the future of Bangladesh’s ready-made garment (RMG) and textile industry.
The two-day summit, themed “Think Beyond Today,” will be held at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel and is expected to attract more than 1,500 participants, including over 500 chief executives and senior business leaders, alongside more than 20 local and international speakers.
According to BAYLA, the summit will serve as a platform for discussions on emerging trends shaping the global apparel industry, including artificial intelligence (AI), Industry 4.0, sustainability, innovation, finance, leadership, workforce development, and data-driven decision-making.
Industry experts and keynote speakers from the business and policy sectors will share insights on global manufacturing leadership, AI-powered transformation, sustainable production practices, SME development, and strategies for building a future-ready workforce.
A major highlight of the event will be the BAYLA Future Leaders 2026, a national inter-university case competition designed to connect students with industry leaders. Following campus rounds on 16 and 18 July, shortlisted teams will present their business solutions before an expert panel during the summit’s grand finale.
Abrar Hossain Sayem, President of BAYLA, said Bangladesh has established itself as a global apparel manufacturing hub, but sustaining that position will require continuous innovation, technology adoption, strong leadership, and skilled human capital.
Hasin Arman Ayon, First Vice-President of BAYLA and Event Director of the summit, said the initiative aims to foster collaboration among industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and young professionals to develop practical solutions for the long-term competitiveness of Bangladesh’s apparel sector.
Huawei will serve as the title sponsor of the event, while Envoy Legacy, A&E (American & Efird) Bangladesh Ltd, Sunrise Zhejiang Risun Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd, and Transcom have joined as powered-by partners.
The summit reflects BAYLA’s continued efforts to encourage knowledge exchange, industry-academia collaboration, and innovation-driven growth for Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.
