FESPA Wins AEO Organiser Team of the Year Award for Global Event Excellence

FESPA has been named ‘Organiser Team of the Year’ at the prestigious Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence Awards, recognising the organisation’s outstanding contribution to the global events industry and its continued success in delivering world-class exhibitions for the print and speciality graphics sectors.

The award honours FESPA’s global team for its collaborative approach to organising international exhibitions, driving strong visitor growth, high exhibitor satisfaction and meaningful commercial outcomes across its global event portfolio.

According to FESPA, its exhibitions have consistently attracted high numbers of decision-makers while delivering significant business opportunities for exhibitors and industry stakeholders.

Beyond its exhibition activities, the association was recognised for its long-term commitment to sustainability, community development and industry education.

Through its Profit for Purpose model, FESPA reinvests 100% of its event profits into supporting the global print community through its international network of member associations.

The organisation has also expanded its social impact through the FESPA Foundation, which transforms surplus printed materials from exhibitions into educational resources for schools and communities in need. Since its launch in 2025, the foundation has supported schools in South Africa and Brazil through donations of learning materials, funding and infrastructure improvements, benefiting more than 1,000 students.

As part of its sustainability strategy, FESPA achieved ISO 20121:2024 Sustainable Event Management certification this year, following its earlier ISO 20121:2012 certification in 2025. The organisation also reported year-on-year reductions in carbon emissions between its 2024 and 2025 exhibitions.

Knowledge-sharing remains another key pillar of FESPA’s activities. Alongside its exhibitions, the organisation hosts industry conferences and educational programmes designed to help businesses adapt to changing market trends, embrace innovation and identify new growth opportunities. Its global network of associations also organises seminars, workshops and conferences throughout the year to support local print communities.

Commenting on the achievement, Neil Felton, CEO of FESPA, said the award reflects the dedication and professionalism of the organisation’s international team.

He noted that FESPA’s purpose-driven approach goes beyond delivering successful exhibitions by creating lasting value for exhibitors, partners and the wider print industry while supporting communities through initiatives such as the FESPA Foundation.

The recognition further reinforces FESPA’s position as one of the leading global organisers of print and textile industry exhibitions, combining commercial success with sustainability, education and community impact.
