Lenzing Group has launched a new integrated portfolio, Lenzing Solutions for Protective Wear, aimed at advancing performance and sustainability in the global PPE market.
The three-tier system is anchored by LENZING FR fibers for high-risk environments, alongside TENCEL Lyocell fibers for hybrid and cost-effective protection solutions. The portfolio combines inherent flame resistance, comfort, and environmental efficiency within a unified framework.
The launch follows its Asia-Pacific debut at CIOSH Shanghai 2026 and will be showcased globally at Techtextil Frankfurt 2026.
Designed to address diverse industrial risks, the system offers:
- Inherent protection: Flame resistance built into fibers for sectors like firefighting and utilities
- Hybrid protection: Blended solutions balancing safety and comfort
- FR-finished protection: Cost-effective options for industrial applications
Lenzing highlighted that its fibers deliver improved durability, reduced heat stress, and enhanced worker performance. Independent tests show lower core body temperature increases compared to conventional materials.
The company also emphasized sustainability benefits, including reduced water, energy, and carbon emissions through dope-dyeing technology.
With the global PPE market projected to reach $130 billion by 2033, the launch positions Lenzing to strengthen its presence in protective textiles through innovation, performance, and environmental responsibility.
