Ohyoung Introduces Suncron® Disperse Dye System to Improve Polyester Dyeing Efficiency and Sustainability

South Korea-based Ohyoung Inc. has expanded its high-performance textile processing portfolio with Suncron®, a disperse dye system designed to enhance consistency, efficiency, and sustainability in polyester dyeing.

Polyester dyeing has long faced challenges such as shade inconsistency, high energy consumption, and complex processing requirements, particularly in large-scale textile hubs like Bangladesh.

Suncron addresses these issues through a multi-tier dye system (high-energy, medium-energy, and specialized variants) that allows mills to optimize dyeing based on fabric type and processing conditions.

The latest formulations, including the APEX range, target high-performance applications such as sportswear and technical textiles, where color fastness and durability are critical.

The system also supports reduced water and energy usage through shorter dyeing cycles, aligning with global sustainability and decarbonisation goals in textile manufacturing.

Industry experts note that such innovations are increasingly important as global brands tighten quality and environmental standards across supply chains.
