Store, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics & Supply Chain Professionals (SWILS) actively participated in a colorful event organized by the Bangladesh Apparels General Managers Association (BAGMA), reaffirming its commitment to strengthening Bangladesh’s apparel supply chain sector.
The event brought together key stakeholders from the country’s ready-made garment (RMG) industry, including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the President of BGMEA, apparel factory owners, senior executives, and industry professionals.
During the program, representatives of SWILS presented a Crest of Honor to A. Pervez Labu, Founder and Chairman of BAGMA, in recognition of his contributions to the development of Bangladesh’s apparel management sector.
Speaking on behalf of SWILS, Md. Ferdous Rahman (MBA-SCM, PGDSCM, CSCPP), Chief Founder & Admin of SWILS and a warehouse professional at a reputed company in Bangladesh, praised BAGMA’s continuous efforts to strengthen the country’s RMG industry through professional training and capacity-building initiatives.
He said that BAGMA has been playing a significant role in developing skilled manpower and strengthening the supply chain ecosystem of Bangladesh’s apparel industry. He also expressed hope that SWILS would continue working alongside BAGMA to enhance the professional competencies of Store, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, and Supply Chain professionals, contributing to the sustainable growth of the RMG sector.
The SWILS delegation included Abu Bakkar Siddiq (Adviser, SWILS), Shishir Das, Mohammad Riajul Hoque, Md. Tafazzal Hossain, S.M. Shahnewaz Sharif Samim, Md. Hamidur Rahman, and Md. Ferdous Rahman, representing the organization’s leadership.
The event was regarded as an important platform for promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, networking, and professional development among Bangladesh’s RMG, Store, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, and Supply Chain professionals.
