H&M has revealed its latest collaboration with Stella McCartney, marking 20 years since their first partnership and reaffirming a shared commitment to sustainable and innovative fashion.
Set to launch on 7 May, the new collection revisits McCartney’s design legacy, blending archive-inspired pieces with contemporary silhouettes. The range reflects key moments from the designer’s 25-year career, combining signature tailoring, oversized shirting and flowing outerwear with bold prints and statement styles drawn from earlier collections.
The collection features a mix of apparel and accessories, including rib-knit dresses, tailored separates, denim, mesh pieces and statement partywear. Accessories play a central role, with multiple bag styles, chain-detailed footwear and jewellery crafted using recycled metals.
Sustainability remains at the core of the collaboration. The collection incorporates recycled materials, organic cotton, responsibly sourced wool and innovative alternatives derived from renewable feedstocks such as plant-based oils. This approach reflects McCartney’s long-standing focus on environmentally responsible fashion.
Speaking on the launch, McCartney described the collection as a reflection of her design journey, combining past influences with modern interpretations. The campaign, shot in London, highlights a balance between nostalgia and forward-looking design, reinforcing themes of connection and conscious creativity.
The collaboration underscores the continued importance of designer partnerships in driving innovation, sustainability and consumer engagement in the global fashion industry.
