Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 will take place from 9–11 June at the Shenzhen Exhibition and Convention Center, reinforcing the Greater Bay Area’s role as a key global textile sourcing hub. The event follows a strong previous edition that attracted nearly 40,000 visits from 64 countries and regions.
Positioned within South China’s integrated manufacturing ecosystem, the fair will connect yarn and fibre suppliers with downstream apparel manufacturers, offering buyers streamlined sourcing opportunities across the textile value chain. The global yarn and fibre market is projected to reach USD 108.5 billion in 2026, with Asia-Pacific remaining the largest regional market.
The 2026 edition will feature eight themed zones including cotton yarn, chemical fibre, fancy yarn, cashmere, silk, and green linen yarn. It will also highlight sustainability, digitalisation, and AI-driven innovations shaping modern textile production.
Organisers say the fair will enhance business matching, industry forums, and product showcases, helping companies expand regional and global trade links. Concurrent events such as Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics will further strengthen cross-sector collaboration.
Industry participants view Yarn Expo Shenzhen as a strategic platform for accessing China’s fast-evolving textile market, particularly as demand rises for efficient sourcing, sustainable materials, and technology-driven manufacturing solutions.
