The highly anticipated ITM 2026 International Textile Machinery Exhibition officially opened its doors today at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, bringing together the global textile technology industry for five days of innovation, investment and business networking.
Organized jointly by Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım Inc. and Teknik Fairs Inc. in cooperation with the Textile Machinery and Accessories Industrialists Association (TEMSAD), the exhibition is hosting more than 1,000 companies and representatives from 55 countries, making it one of the largest textile machinery gatherings in the world.
ITM 2026 showcases cutting-edge technologies across digitalization, artificial intelligence-powered manufacturing, automation, sustainable production systems, energy-efficient machinery and smart factory solutions. Industry professionals have the opportunity to witness live machine demonstrations, explore next-generation production technologies and engage directly with global technology providers.
Beyond technology displays, the exhibition serves as a major platform for investment and commercial collaboration. Through dedicated B2B meetings, manufacturers, investors and buyers are expected to establish new partnerships and drive machinery sales across international markets. Delegations from key textile-producing nations including Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan and Egypt are among the visitors attending the event.
Running alongside ITM 2026, HIGHTEX 2026 International Technical Textiles and Nonwovens Exhibition highlights the latest developments in technical textiles, nonwoven production technologies and sustainable material innovations. The exhibition covers applications ranging from medical and hygiene products to automotive, construction and agricultural textiles.
Organizers expect ITM 2026 to set new records in exhibitor participation, visitor attendance and business transactions, further strengthening Istanbul’s role as a strategic meeting point connecting Europe, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.
