The 25th edition of China Interdye opened on Wednesday in Shanghai, bringing together global manufacturers and suppliers of dyes, pigments and textile chemicals, with sustainability and innovation at the forefront.
Held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, the three-day exhibition is among the largest global platforms for the dyeing and finishing industry, covering around 60,000 square metres and attracting hundreds of exhibitors alongside thousands of professional visitors.
The event showcases a comprehensive range of products and technologies, including dyestuffs, pigments, textile auxiliaries, intermediates, and advanced dyeing and printing machinery. Exhibitors are highlighting solutions aimed at reducing water consumption, minimising chemical waste, and improving energy efficiency in textile processing.
With tightening global environmental regulations and increasing pressure from fashion brands for greener supply chains, sustainability remains a central theme. Companies are presenting eco-friendly dye formulations, low-impact processing technologies, and cleaner production methods aligned with industry decarbonisation goals.
Digitalisation is also a key focus, with several participants introducing automated and data-driven systems designed to enhance precision, reduce resource use and optimise operational efficiency in textile manufacturing.
In parallel, the exhibition is hosting technical seminars and industry forums covering emerging trends such as circular chemistry, bio-based dye alternatives and sustainable finishing processes.
China Interdye continues to serve as a critical platform for global collaboration and trade in the textile chemicals sector, supporting the industry’s transition toward more sustainable and efficient production practices.
